The province typically requires the services of a licensed professional outfitter. With our provincial allocation system, your tag is guaranteed once your booking is confirmed. In other words, no public draw system requirement for the hunts that we offer – your tags are secured directly through Alberta Hunting Adventures.
Big Game Hunting Species in Alberta
Hunters routinely come to Alberta to enjoy our legendary trophy quality and a diverse number of huntable species, including:
• White-tailed Deer & Mule Deer: Known for their impressive antler mass, size and often unique configurations.
• Black Bear: Offering both spring and fall seasons, with a high percentage of unique color phases ranging from cinnamon, to chocolate and the dominant black phase.
• Wolf: Winter baited, and calling, wolf hunts that provide a challenging backcountry experience.
• Coyote: Test your skills with our thrilling coyote hunts, a challenging and rewarding experience.
Our guided trips are six days for deer, bear, and wolf. And three days for coyote hunts. Additional days may be added at a pro-rated cost. Lodging can vary from “roughing it” in tent camps to staying at our comfortable lodging with full amenities.

As professional outfitters, we’ve been providing full-service big game hunting since 2001. In fact, Kevin has been a big game hunting guide since 1992. Both licensed guides, we take great pride in helping you, our guest, achieve your goals in the outdoors. We are both passionate about hunting big deer, predators, and bighorn sheep. While we especially enjoy bowhunting, we do our fair share of muzzleloader and rifle hunting as well. Born and raised in Alberta, we live the outdoors lifestyle and are active in several aspects of the outdoor industry. Long-time members of the outdoors media, as outdoor writers, TV personalities, professional outfitters and guides, we’ve had the privilege of traveling internationally to experience professional hunting services across North America and abroad. As such we’ve learned what works, what clients like, and how to best help you – our guests – achieve your goals. We believe in professionalism, and we see our business as more than just hunting.
